there is a lot of information in the diet section here. Im sure someone can help you out. Eating habits are of course most important. She needs to start eating healthier food. Keep a lot of fruits, veg, nuts and healthy food around.

Dont get hungry. Eat at least 5 or 6x a day. When you get hungry you crave bad food. Keep eating every 2 hrs or less good food and you wont crave bad food.

What kind of shape are you in? Help motivate her by improving yourself also.

Unless she specifically ask you to help...or..
    Unless you cook for her...
    then...
Hint: NOT one woman I know wants to hear what to eat especially from those closest to her. By your example is best.

There is a term used called "friendly enemy" and I will give you an example:
"I am so proud of you for not putting butter on your potato"......this type of statement to a female can send us into a WILD state of mind.

The fact that she is telling you that "you do not know what you are talking about" tells me that SHE needs to come up with this solution herself. The other night I was at a couple's house and the husband suggested that his wife rarely worked out.... well....he was in trouble all night long... and more.

I think this is a universal theme. No matter where in the world. There is always an exception to the rule---but....I would stay away from ANY food comments...pro or con...and you will get better results. IF she ask you...then fine.

Welcome aboard! there is a lot to learn here. YOU will love it!
