Good fights, cant believe anderson silva pulled off that win. wow Thats a testament to the power of juijitsu over wrestling when it comes to finishing fights.

The trash talking Chael did really chapped my ass, but tonight he backed it up. Silva is my guy, and he appeared to me to be looking for a submission like he got. Not saying I thought he would get it after being mauled for twenty plus minutes, but I think he knew if it stayed on the ground he would have to make him tap. Great fight. Chael really impressed me.

i was goin for silva but i was kinda dissapointed in his drive... i mean he just sat their and got slammed for 4 rounds before he finally did anything. but i guess whats important is that he won, he definately needs to get that drive back.

Champions find a way to win. But I gotta admit, Sonnen stuck to his gameplan and almost pulled it out. He exploited the one weakness Silva has and controlled the entire fight. I was impressed. My sons and I actually got up and started lifting again (we were watching the fight in our home gym) after the takedown in the 5th. We just knew Silva was helpless on the ground during the whole fight. Then after my oldest boy finished his squat set (I was spotting him), we turned around to see Silva lift his hips and swing his leg over, grab his foot and secure the choke...EPIC!!!! WOW!!!

While I'm still a bigger boxing fan (because I'm old, LOL), its MMA fights like this make me proud to be a 'FIGHT' fan!!!!

Wow just cought up with the fight, awsome, truly awsome , silvia surely took a pounding. But ultimatly he won via choke, gutted though would of liked sonnen to win
