I have pinned numerous times in my glutes but today i pinned and when i pulled the needle out a lot of blood came out? Is there a chance i hit an artery? Are there any major arteries in the glutes?

no man you shouldn't have an issue, it would not have been an artery lol
sometimes you might hit a vein, there for more blood will come out after you pull the pin, nothing to worry about it just happens sometimes.

No big deal.. the needle probably went through a vein on its way in.. and once pulled out there is an easy path for it to flow out of.. just rub it with alcohol, tape a cotton bud too it and remove it tomorrow.
