Hi guys, though I'm a new member here I've been following this site for over a year (my "unique" story is http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=442214 there in my introduction on the site).
I am 6'5" 167 pounds, I was a highly competitive distance runner for many years and got into weight training over a year ago when I quit running for good. Though I was able to gain about 25 pounds I peaked and could never get over 175. Though I was eating a ton and often I know it wasn't enough (I had a plan set up by a self acclaimed nutritionist).
If my calculations are correct, I need about 4,800 calories a day to build mass. I very much understand the values of hard work, patience, and consistency in training and now that I have money to afford as much food as I need I'm ready to give this another go and reach my 200 pound goal! After that I'll make a new goal, but one thing at a time for now.
I know there are many VERY smart people on here, so I'm asking someone to PLEASE help me come up with a well balanced, high calorie diet which will help me to reach my goals. If someone posted a day by day diet, I would follow it 100%.....I'm looking for something long-term, this isn't some "phase", I just never had the money to do this properly before. I work in a bank so my days are not very active, beside lifting, though on the weekends I enjoy playing frisbee golf and volleyball, nothing too intense though. Thanks.
Edit: I'm 23 years old if that is of any importance.
