Thread: Getting serious :)

    Talking Getting serious :)

Hey everyone, been reading this forum for a while, lots of good info, but I figure its time to interact a little too.

I've been weight training for about a bit over a year now, Id say only about 6 months of that is serious though. The other time was all learning and experimenting and trying to figure out how the hell my body worked. My metabolism is pretty epic.

My starting weight about 1.5yrs ago was 70kg or (154 pounds), my height is 6,1" so obviously I was or still am fairly skinny.

Today my weight is 76kg or (167.5 pounds), i look and feel alot better, but still fairly skinny, I certainly haven't put on much body fat, I'm around 12% by all accounts.

IN my spare time I'm a Boxing and Muay Thai, (kick boxing) Instructor, teaching and training 3 nights a week. So I do quite a bit of intense cardio, and I love it, my cardio is pretty epic these days

SO basically I'm mixing in three days a week of Weight training with my teaching and own fight training. Typically I do weights then either teach or do my own training.

My target goal is to be 85 kg or (187 pounds) with lets go 8% body fat. Personally for me, with the fighting I don't want to be much bigger, but I might, who knows

So yeah I'm about to go post over in the diet section, because I've drastically changed it in the last two weeks, and have started eating more consistently. I spose before i was slacking and not getting enough intake, not eating the right things, and not at the right times, and it feels nice to be finally doing things right.

Don't want to make this post any longer, so say Hi, cause I'm going to be posting a fair bit, as I'm thinking of cycling at some point in the near future for further strength and weight gain, Oh and I'm 27 and live in good ol Sydney Australia
