For two decades I have suffered from various low test (sub 200) effects. Finally my VA Docs have put me on Test C. They had to take their time because I have an enlarged prostate (since my twenties) and high PSA (between 6 and 10) also since the early 90s. Fortunately they considered my high PSAF eg 25, my excellent biopsy and PCA3 (genetic) tests and put me on a low dose, 2.5 mgs test with a patch for 5 months and tested and watched my PSA and BPH etc. Now they are satisfied but testing and watching monthly to be safe. They are letting me continue my longtime habit of usinng 10mgs ED of all natural progesterone and taking my dozens of vitamins including lots of beta-sitosterol and nettle root.
With that long history over I started my third week this AM of using 200 mg of Test Cyp which I inject every Friday. The patch did nothing for my test level, my ED nor my depression and sleep problems. To top it off my wife passed away 6 weeks ago after long painful battles with COPD and lung and brain cancers so my depression hit an all-time high. Thankfully after just two weeks of Test C I already am starting to feel better in all respects. I am assuming that as my test levels finally rise I will continue to reap more of these benefits. What I don't have a clue to is will they continue to rise for 3, 6, 12 months or what? I can't explain how much better I feel this quickly and re-entering the single world some day it would sure help feeling happy and confident. I turn 69 shortly and have been lifting and running for 50+ years so I am in great condition for an old fart. Is there a typical progression of effects that will improve more or is this an early peak and that's it? I know it's a dumb question but with a ton of info out there that I have read, there is really little that addresses the time and effect relationship.
