I was given a nutrition plan by my personal trainer, it involves eating 5 times a day. I am overweight at 6'3 342 and my goal is to cut weight and build lean muscle. I posted my picture in the Q&A forum under the thread "serious question" Following the paper he gave me with lists of foods and proportions, this is what my diet has looked like on a regular day:
9am: 1tbsp peanut butter and 1/2 an apple or a few pieces of mango
12pm: 1 plain bagel with 4oz lean turkey or ham with 1 slice of american cheese
3pm: 2 slices of whole wheat bread and 1tbsp of peanut butter
6pm: 4 slices of whole wheat bread and 1 can of tuna and 1 slice of american cheese
9pm: 1/2 cup of instant oatmeal 8oz of 2% milk
This seems to have gotten my metabolism going really well. I find myself extremely hungry from 3pm-6pm or 7pm. Even after eating. I am not usually hungry for breakfast but i eat it anyway. I have lost nearly 20pounds in a 3 week period following his workouts and diet. Does this seem like a good nutrition plan for someone in my situation? He has talked about upping my nutrition since I am getting hungry in the daytime and he says I will still lose weight the same and ill make more muscle as well.
