    Can it be true?

Has anyone read details on this mentioned study? Can this be true for most of our bodybuilding situations?

Personally I feel the old '1 week per muscle' is far too long but everyone seems to go by it. I'm training every 48 hours and getting good results so far.

Do we really need that long? Just because a muscle is still sore it doesn't mean it hasn't recovered in size and strength according to most doms studies i've heard about.

    What does everyone think?

It all depends on how hard the muscle was worked and how much damage was done. Some studies say that a muscle can be sufficiently stimulated to grow without absolutely killing it in the gym - and that doing so would only prolong recovery but not add anything more in terms of growth. Think HFT programs that are working the same muscle every other day.

I've worked the same muscle twice a week, Monday and Thursday for example, and then switched to once a week. Honestly I didn't notice a difference one way or the other.
