how do you guys eat your oats/oatmeal or anything similar to it?
I almost died eating it raw, taste like dry plastic.

I almost died eating it raw, taste like dry plastic.
I add 1-2 packet of Twin sugar and usually i have either blueberries or peanut butter to mix with it. But even raw, i love it.
IMO theres never going to be any way of dressing oats up, i eat mine raw, just have to get up 20 mins earlier to stuff them down
I add enough milk to cover them, microwave it for 3 mins and stir mid way through.
Add 1 tsp of honey for taste if needed.
Maybe not the absolute heathiest way but they taste great. Every morning I cant wait to get my porridge.
Add tiny bit of skim milk enough to cover
heat it up and use some splenda! = 0 calories
skim milk, egg whites and blueberries with my oats..............not bad at all!
For 1/2 cup of dry oats, add 1 cup of water, microwave for 1 min 30 secs. Stir in 2-3 splenda or stevia, a good amount of cinnamon, I add a splash of fat free half and half to 'creamy' it up, and finally a handful of blueberries. I look forward to it every morning!
For my PWO shake, I just mix raw oats in there and chew em up - I actually enjoy that too.
Grind it up via blender and throw it in my pro shake w/ fruit uncooked. Tasteless.
I actually just started mixing in a few table spoons of sugar free jam with them, uncooked!! Its actually not bad at all!
In the morning I heat about 60g of oats in a bowl with just water and a little bit of milk and then I add in 1/2 scoop of whey protein (for some fast acting protein right in the AM) and it's absolutely delicious.
Then for my PWO meal I have 2 scoops of whey protein mixed with water and then I just throw in about 70g of oats and drink it, also tastes delicious!
excellent ways.
i never thought of half and half. but natural sweeteners like blueberries and honey is right on.
i know some complain about the price of honey, but its the best natural sweetener.
*** get 100 percent natural honey, there is a world of taste difference. find a local beekeeper / honey seller. and take it home by the gallon, thats what i do. my father turned me on to that. you just wont believe the taste difference and the super price youll get from the bee keeper.

I have mine with oat milk (lactose intolerant), goji berries, sunflower seeds, cashews and almonds. That way you don't need the artificial sweetners or honey.
Certainly gets me going
Half cup oats, whole cup milk, microwave for 2mins
Or half cup oats in 1 cup of blended cottage cheese with half scoop of chocolate whey
Oats + Rice Milk + Stevia + Banana + Blueberries = Win

what if u r cutting?
would u change the way u make ur oats?
like no berries or fruit and such?
^^ fruit is very important!
why would you eat oats raw? what would be the advantage of that? why wouldn't you just cook them?
interesting..im bout to start incorporating carbs back into my diet after being in a ketogenic diet, however id like to cut back on milk and sugar as much as possible...
milk due to the lactose....
and due to the bloat..so im trying to figure out a good way to have my oats
Yes sir^
awesome as bro..and may just put in spoon of stevia or few splenda
Tried them in my protein shake for the first time, not bad at all. Good fast easy carbs.
A little splenda goes a long ways as well

Grind it up via blender and throw it in my pro shake w/ fruit uncooked. Tasteless.
THAT I HAVE TO TRY, IMAY BE ABLE TO TAKE THAT
On way to gym I dip spoon in natty peanut butter and dip in dry oats .
Must have plenty of water .
Very filling and time consuming to eat while waiting in rush hour traffic .
Protein shake. Mine changes all the time; this is my standard protein shake right now:
1 banana
1 cup egg whites pasteurized
1 cup skim milk
Half a container of fat free strawberry yogurt
1 cup oats
I do it all by eye sight now not really measuring these days. You will have to find out what works for you but trust me if you mix them in the blender with some other stuff you won't even taste them.
i just add water and cinnamon and put it in the micro and take it down. Not that bad bro
