Highschool football and protein shakes

Our football coach where I live wanted to start offering the players a protein shake after practice everyday. The guy was going to buy it with his own money just to help the team out. Well as soon as the parents found out they flipped their shit. Saying things like "my child won't mess his life up drinking that steroid shit. He's got college ball to play"

(WTF??) I swear the parents made such a big deal over whey protein the guy almost lost his job. They even took it to the school board. Its truly sad how stupid people are and how the media sways people that have no idea what they are talking about.

Anyway just thought I'd share that

Going to get me some of that flavored steroid!!

That's pathetic. I'm not surprised though, because I know of people saying that kind of ignorant shit about protein shakes before.

I like to think we live in an age of great advancement and luxury, but you know what? We're in a dark age, really. We're in an intellectual dark age.

Our society isn't smart and intelligent enough to deserve the luxuries of technology and science that we currently have. Think about how advanced we really COULD be if people acted and thought differently. We could have cures for nearly every disease, and have far more efficient technologies than we currently have and EVERYTHING! The people who do this and think this way should be living 600 years ago, not today.

Along the same line...look up the studies advertisement companies did....their conclusion was "in order to make our advertisement more productive it has to be dumb enough so even a 3rd grader can understand it. Cause the overall intelligence level of an adult is same as a 3rd grader...go figure.

Yeah, i'm not surprised that North America has fallen so far behind in medicine and technology, it's ridiculous. Last we were ahead of the game in science was the 1960s! World Developments in science is now led by Europe and China. It's pathetic, how could we have fallen this far?

We would not have to if we would just stop all the safety precautions that us normal 1/2 way intelligent people are aware of. Common sense.

Look around you, all the safety rails, lights, signs, etc are made for potential Darwin award winners.
