Baby update :)

Well its been quite a week..
Last friday we did labwork so it would be official with insurance that my wife is pregnant... they called us back that afternoon and confirmed that she is pregnant.. even congratulated us.. then told us that the doctor wanted to do more labs on monday and that we had no worries about the labs..

On Monday we go do the labs and the lab tech tells us its to determine due date.. so we are really excited about all of it

My wife then takes me to the airport (I have to travel weekly for work).. when I arrive in Houston a few hours later my wife is calling me hysterical..

The doctors office called and told her that the labs said she was going to miscarry.. so of course we are both freaking out.. I cancelled my work for the week and flew home the next day..

we finally get in touch with the nurse and she explained that my wife's HCG levels are really low and that it looked like that she miscarried extremely early in the pregnancy .. but they want to do another test on thursday just to confirm..

so we go do the test yesterday.. and her HCG levels had doubled.. which is an indication that she didn't miscarry .. so right now everything is looking very good.. we are going to do labs again next week and her HCG levels should jump pretty high if everything is ok..

definitely been a roller coaster of a week...

TLDR - Thought pregnant.. thought miscarry.. back to pregnant

I was curious and sorry if this is in another thread already.
I know your on TRT/HRT. Were you meaning to have a child and if so did you have to do anything extra or stop doing something to have a child>?

Yes we were meaning/trying..

only thing extra was sex 2-3 times a day to keep up with younger wife lol

seriously though I am taking 250iu HCG 2xweek ..

Congratulations! Glad to hear all has worked out for the best and glad to hear you were able to "do the deed" while on HRT... There's hope for a guy like me after all. =) Still gotta work on that wife thing though. =P

Glad to hear this! Keep us posted with the progress.

I have also discovered that I am producing sperm as well, which kind of goes against the grain of what we we've heard about TRT. This puts a chink in my armor, as we were looking to pull my wife off of BC pills and start her on her own BHRT program. Well, we can still move forward on it, but I'll probably need to get snipped ... Ugh!!
