    diets

I'm so confused on what diet I want to use to cut for about 4-6 weeks. I want to keep my lbm just cut bf before its winter to bulk again. I planned on running ckd, 1. Because I'm curious of how my body reacts with it and 2. People have claimed they have lost great amounts of bf and lost little to no lbm. But now I have read about people frowning apon ckd and keri type diets and to just to the traditional 40,40,20 split I'm just confused on what to do and what will be the most effective.
    Stats.

    180lbs
    17% bf
    150lb lbm
    5,10

Nobody's gonna be able to answer this bro. The only way to know is to make an informed choice, and then commit to it. Don't do what I did (am still doing?) and jump from diet to diet - it really winds up going nowhere. Whatever you choose, give it a proper amount of time to start showing it's results, and if they are less then acceptable, you can make a choice at that point. Just don't abandon after 2 weeks.

I did the ckd diet for 6 weeks and it worked well for me. Lost a huge amount of body fat and maintained muscle.

I must ad, though, that ckd is merely a means to an end IMO. I wouldn't recommend continuing this diet for a long period of time if your objective is to build muscle. Think of this diet as a way to lose some body fat, but there will come a point where you will stagnate and stop losing weight. This happened to me after going from 25% BF to 13% (about 6 weeks) so I switched to a low carb high protein diet much like the ones you see posted here in the diet section. The weight is starting to drop off again.

In short, I don’t believe it’s a bad thing to switch your diet every 6-8 weeks and it may even benefit you as it did for me. However, with all I have said bear in mind that I am dedicated to cardio and IMO it must be maintained daily - I strongly advice this and firmly believe that no diet will work for you unless you’re willing to put some time into cardio!

Well that is what I want just to cut down to 10-12% in 4-6weeks before I plan to bulk again. The only thing is after I'm down with ckd should I slow introduce carbs or can I just go back to normal eating carbs earlier in the day and pro/fat later

Even now I'm off the ckd I still don't eat that much carbs. I always eat carbs morn to early afternoon it doesn't matter if I'm cutting or bulking.

And agreed - make an informed choice and stick to it for a min of 6-8 weeks.
