    Chicken breast 40G Protein?

Usually around meal 5 which is after my PWO shake I like to eat two chicken breasts with brown rice and some veggies. If a chicken breast is 40G protein (if that is right) is two of them too much protein for that sitting?

I thought I read somewhere that over 50G protein your body won't digest it correctly or absorbsion would be lost to a point.

Been doing it like this for years but was just thinking about it.

ALOT of factors go into this.

Id say the main factor would be your size. If this is what you do and its been working without issues and minimal fat gain, why change it

If you do not know their weight all you are doing is speculating on their protiein content, which is pointless.

You need to weigh out your food bro. Generally, meat has 6g protein per oz. You can get a pretty good idea of what you're eating by weighing your food using a food scale.

Having said that, 80g protein in one sitting is too much for anybody IMO, with all due respect to Reed. I suppose the exception would be a monster needing 6000+ calories/day; chances are this is not you.

yeah, I measure pretty much everything else like oats, egg whites, pasta and so on but need a scale. Maybe Wal-mart has them.

I have my diet down pretty good this year except for the odd measurement like that.

I got mine at Target, so yea, most likely Walmart would have them too. Best investment you can make!

Is that 6 grams per cooked or uncooked ounce?

Yea, it's supposed to be uncooked, and you definitely lose some weight cooking, but I stopped splitting hairs over that. It was too annoying to worry about how many oz. and grams of protein were lost from cooking, so now I just weigh my meats cooked and stick with the 6g/oz rule - it's close enough, the fact that it's off a bit isn't going to make or break anybody's diet.
