    Upper back injury

Wondering if anyone can help me out here

I have an upper back injury that has been there for a few years

While i was thai boxing someone pulled down on my head sharply, i woke up the next day with a stiff neck and pain under my right shoulder blade ( between shoulder blade and spine)

Pain from it comes and goes and i have learnt what sets it off ( behind neck pressing ec..)

I get some relief when i lean on the corner of a wall with it pushing into my back ( between shoulder blade and spine)

I phyisio also gave me an exercise to do where i pull my chin into my neck and tillt my head back while keeping chin tucked, this also helps a little

Is there anything else i can try??

Im going to be looking at going to a chiropractor to get it sorted soon, anything i can do in the meantime

I had something similiar and it ended up being inflamation of the rib tips and their tendons. The first time it happened, I couldn't even turn my head. Now, it comes and goes and about the only thing I can do for it is ice it. Same exact spot as you mentioned. I went to the chiro for a while, but since it's an inflamation thing, there's no real benefit from going. They just ice it and use electric stimulation therapy.

FYI, a hard sneeze can always set mine off.
