that is where I was leaning, almost $1G less than the other sets. The first 2 sets are $750ea wheel and rubber for 18x10 is enough

    holy crap.

I had no clue rims were that pricey.

I was judging purely on aesthetics

I appreciate the link =)... I saved up for 2 years for my first car 1969 Camaro when I was 17. Besides going fast in a straight line it disspointed. Wish I had the money back then to restore it. Would have been a nice weekend ride now.

sure is... I like engines that can make 900+ hp on stock internals (metal HG is a must though)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idi2hULC6d8

Not great around the corners.. but who cares?? Over here in Europe girls panties literaly fall off when you drive it down the street.. especially when you are sitting in traffic next to a Ferrari or some other over priced Euro car..

I could never get into the rice rockets.. i understand why the asians drive them.. but i would never be caught dead in one.. i only drive Chevy's and Fords.. (i'm from Cali, My grandpa built fords for 35 years and my dad sold tem for 20)

As well you should... dont get me wrong, I loved that car cause it was my "dream car" until I had to give her up. Too pricey now to grab another.

Might actually pick up an '11 Stang... some impressive stats that thing is putting out.

Knockout, I like the first pic on the rims. Did I read correctly that it can pull 900hp? That's insane HP!!! I'm pulling 620 on my Vette with a ProCharger. I can only imagine the what the rush would feel like hitting it at 900.

My bad I thought the wheels looked a little small.

Save some $$ for repairs, those puppies are high maintenance as I am sure you know.

I have always wanted a TT Supra like that but was afraid of where it had been and how much it was going to cost to fix it if anything ever went wrong.

    Factory 13.2 second 1/4

My friend in Seattle has his dyno'd at 1403 WHP on methynol. Its not stock at all aside from the block. A traction limited mid 8 second is easy but its full interior and sound system...

lots of quick 8 second Supra's that are daily driven

With actual slicks and drag suspension they dip into the 7's with stock bodies and just rollcages

Agreed, now if you add more than 20% of factory torque you start snapping driveline parts on most new cars.

Those videos are mind blowing! I was going to ask about how their drivelines holds up to those upgrades, but it sounds like they factored in that variable when they made them back then.

    Good stuff, KP

yah, bulletproof drivelines. The 6 speed Getrag transmission was good to 1000hp. The engine is a 3.0L inline 6 twin turbo (2JZGTE) but weighed more than a cast iron V8... huge main caps and connecting rods.

very possibly. Hogan is a notorious Supra fan. He had a different colour for each day of the week (no jokes). I think he had 1 untouched engine and the others had 500+ with one around the 850 range.

Yeah it was a cool car. He had it imported from japan. All of the body panels were fabricated from metal. 600 bhp engine when he bought it. The guy he sold it to fitted a 1400bhp Titan engine in it. will have a look and see if I can get some interior pics. It was all cream leather interior. He paid $39,547 for it. He likes his toys.

This one is also RHD from Japan. Only way I could find an unmodded car with low Km's.

That was my first choice but the $ is hard for me to Justify. Have a set of 18x10 +24 on hold for me right now but I think Im going to go with the FNO1R-C's for the price.
