Arimidex: how much does it hinder gains on cycle?

Did the pre-cycle blood work and my estradiol levels are a definitely in the upper range. (34 was the estradiol reading, I am 31 years old)

So, I think it would be prudent as I begin my Test Prop cycle next week to start week one with A-dex .5 mg ED. Then taper in week two to .5 mg EOD. Weeks 3-10 .5 mg E3D.

My cycle will be: 75 mg ED Test Prop, 75 mg ED Anavar (for 10 weeks). Got the PCT on lock.

I read on the main site that the anastrozole will block 80% of aromitizing estrogen. This should knock down my estrodial levels. I know some of you recommend no AI until estro sides seen, but with my estradiol levels already on the high end, I'd rather not risk it. How much will my gains be impacted? Noticeably? Thanks.

It would take a much much higher dose then that to even screw with your gains. I wouldn't worry.

Not to split hairs, but could you elaborate on how much higher the dose would have to be to screw with gains? I might start out week one with 1mg A-dex ED, then drop to .5mg EOD in week two.

Like take the AI Femara for example. If you ran this at 2.5+ for the entirety of your cycle, this could very well possibly hinder gains. You need at least some estrogen to grow, not much, but just enough.

The whole AI hindering gains is blown WAY out of proportion on tons of boards. I speak from experience that unless you are taking an excessive amount of whatever AI then maybe, just maybe, it might slightly hinder.
