been using 27 gauge for awhile seems to work, but was thinking of loading the test into a 29 gauge and soaking it up with warm/hot water and seeing if this would even work as well. Has anyone tried anything like this before?

ive used 25....never have used 29. Does the 27 injection take a while or does it flow out like normal?
No need to go smaller man, 23-25 gauge is fine.
going as low as you want in gauge is fine...as long as you can be patient...heating it up does make it flow smoother..
when you say soaking it, do you mean submersing the loaded syringe into water? This would be no good, you could contaminate where ever the water touches and you dont want to apply rubbing alcohol to the needle tip to sterilize.
I just run the hot water and hold the sheeth of the needle and let the water run down the syringe. Makes it flow great through a 25... 29 must take quite a while.
Let me clarify. I take a steaming hot rag and rub the needle with my index and middle finger for a min or two to warm up the needle. So no contamination is going into the ends at all. I am going to experiment!!!
Just get all the gear you wanna load in one shot, inject it into an empty multi shot vial (assuming you have one) run the vial under hot water for a couple of minutes and the compound will start to go very thin, you can see it as it happens. Re sterilize and re draw and your good to go.
The glass vials heat much better than plastic syringes.
That is still putting contaminants onto the outer surface of the needle. Also you are removing the coating on the needle that makes it easier to inject.
Warming up the syringe can also be unsafe due to the heat possibly causing the plastic syringe to leach chemicals into your gear.
As said, use a 23 - 25g needle. Anything smaller will be near impossible to push the juice out and the harder you PUSH the plunger down the harder/faster it will come out the end bruising your muscle where it is slamming against.
Also with that small of a needle gauge you are at higher risk of breaking/snapping the needle and leading to bigger problems. If you are using a SMALL needle due to being afraid you could be causing yourself more/worse fears byt over thinking it. There will be no noticeable discomfort levels from a 25g - 27g/29g
Remember no matter what size you use inject SLOW, dont try to PUSH hard on the plunger.
I put my Vial of Prop in a small frying pad and add 1cm of water
I then het the pan on the gas flame untill the water is boiling
Once its has boiled the oil is fairly warm and runs shooth as anything thru a 25G, mine passes thru a 30G but I have brewed it with EO so it is verry thin
if your prop was made properly(this is if you use UG)
It should Have EO in it. This makes it thinner and I don't think you would have a problem with 29 g. I have used a slin needle b4.
But 27 is pretty tiny already, IMO if you were using that successfully I would continue to use it.
