Who here rides a bike without a licenses

I just bought a 2007 Yamaha R6, and I was talking to the bike dealer, he told me that he rode for 20 years without a licenses, I thought that was pretty crazy.
Anyhow though I have my permit and have been out a couple times, what do you think would happen if I got pulled over with just a permit?

Oh and any Sportbike riders ever notice how harleys never wave lol

lol. been riding since 06 without a motorcycle license.

its usually 50/50 if a harley rider will wave or not

i dont know what would happen if you were pulled over it would prolly depend on the cop.

My friend was pulled over doing 130 in a 50 here in jersey and he has no cycle liscense. he told the cop that his wallet fell out of his back pocket while he was riding. The cop yelled at him pretty hard for riding fast but let him go - he offered to take him in his car to find his liscense but my friend declined and said it could be on any of the three highways he was on LMAO

Get it. Most states will give it to you for free. I took a motorcycle safety course (free thought my state, PA) and not only did they give my my license for free but i also get 10% off my insurance.

I rode for two years w/o. Got pulled over once and just got a warning. Every Harley I've ever waved at waved back. Must be that Midwest hospitality lol.

Thank people like haz's friend there. I am not giving any kind of nod or acknowledgement to idiots who ride and don't care about anyone else on the road but themselves. And I'm not saying all sport bike riders are like that...but thanks to the vast majority I have met who are...well I'd rather not.

I have had my MotorCycle license since I first got it when I was 18, it was easy then and I just pay a little extra every 6 years to keep the endorsement on there when I renew. I personally prefer the cruisers for biking and I get waves from every biker as well, still in the mid-west here though.

different in oz i presume to where you are mate. but i have full licence and ive had custom harleys 5 sports bikes. been pulled over for random breath test and not once asked for licence.

mates have leaner permit and ride bigger bikes and have not got in trouble. only time you could get caught out is when you get booked.

which is hard riding 1000cc bikes on the street

It makes me feel alot more comfortable knowing I'm not the only one lol, I do plan on getting it probably in the spring, but I just don't have the time for it right now unless I go over to the DMV and take the test but all my mates told me its really hard, so I am just going to wait untill I can take the course
