Exclamation Elbow pain in both arms

I'm 35 and a week and a half into my first cycle. Currently on 500ml of test-c/wk and 25mg of D-Bols/day. My lifts have been going up like crazy and after the first week, I noticed I would experience pain inside my elbows. It's tough to pinpoint where...I can only say it's in a general area inside the elbow on both arms. The pain makes it feel like the inside of my elbows are on fire. Earlier in the week, when the pain started, it was mild and I was able to work through it the more I got into my routine at the gym.

Today after lifting a heavy bag off the floor with both hands, the pain came about 5 mins afterward, and it's been the worst I've experienced yet, and it lasted half the day. I knew I wouldn't be going to the gym today for back and bi's. I had to constantly change the resting position of my arms due to the uncomfortable feeling. This is the first I have experienced this kind of injury, so I'm not sure if it's ligaments/tendons or joints or what. I talked to my Exercise Foundations professor and he wasn't sure exactly, but said it was probably joints, gave me an ice pack and said to take 4 or 5 days off to see if the pain subsides.

Does anyone have any experience with this or any thoughts on what it might be? Haha, most, if not all of you, are gonna tell me not to mess with my health or to see a Dr or I'll make it worse, but a part of me hopes to hear something like: "Don't worry dude, I went through the same thing and all you need is a few days off and you'll be good to go again!" :P Whatever the case may be, I'd like to get to the bottom of it and get back to hittin' the weights asap!

Sounds the same as my left elbow, inner forearm tendon.

Pain from contract forearm muscle right at the top of a bicep curl ? bursitis maybe...tendinitis I have not really heard to much about in the inner elbow area...

I rested mine for 1 month, and it came straight back...the fvcker! I have not trainied Bis in the last couple of months, still do back with the use of straps....have not lost any arm size. I stretch before and ice after.

See a Doctor. Hitting a bag can only make it worse.

Sucks man. I am right there with you. I got no such feelings when I did my first cycle. about 8 months later when doing my second cycle it hit me on about week 10. Same damn thing. It really hit me when doing reverse grip pull downs. I think alot of it has to do with shooting up in strength so fast that your tendons and ligaments can't keep up with the increase in muscle strength and they end up getting strained/damaged. This is why it is so important to max yourself out naturally before jumping on the juice. Unfortunately, I did not follow this advice to the T either and am dealing with the inner elbow pain as well. I pretty much took the summer off from lifting, hopped in one night with a guy I train to do some close grip bench and BAM! Same frickn feeling.

I am going to see about getting an appointment with an orth doc here next week as I really want to be able to lift over the winter but if it tends to hurt for any real push/pull exercises then I quickly become limited to what I can even train. Hell, mine hurts when hold the BB on my shoulders for squats (just that tight bend in your arm seems to do it for me)

I was able to make an appt with my doc tomorrow at 1:20. Hopefully I will find out exactly what this is and how it can be treated. I am hoping that they have some sort of brace they can offer me or direct me to that will function better than some cheesey over the counter crap. I will post back with my results tomorrow.

I am 38 and ifIi have a long layoff between cycles (like 2 years) I find that once I get back my bench press skyrockets back. Every workout I am adding more and more weight. By 7 or 8 weeks in I am doing reps 100 pounds or more than what a started with. My elbows really start to hurt. I find that wrapping them helps. Other than that, starting some glucosomine suppliments (which take a few months to take effect) for the future or maybe some deca as it has said to help out the joints during cycle.

According to the my doctor, I have what is called golfers elbow (similar to tennis elbow). Basically, them pain is a result of inflamation in the elbow area, thus putting pressure on the unla nurve when the arm is in a flexed position. They basically did nothing but hand me a couple of handouts. However they suggested that I buy a thera-band flex bar. The litterature they gave me was about the research that was done on this little things that two doctors came up with after realizing that there has been very limited results with the standard forearm braces and lay-off time. According to what I read, when they did a study using patients that all had the same symptoms, all went to physical therapy but 1/2 the group was also given this bar to exercise with, they stopped the experiment after 5 weeks because the group using the bar was already back to about 90% of their functionality vs the other group that was still struggling. So, I took the plunge and ordered the stupid bar from Amazon for like $23 shipped. I ordered the Blue one (stiffest) and it should be here in a few days.

Here is a link to some videos for it and how to do the exercises. According to my doctor, I am to do the ones for golfers elbow as it will help to strengthen/stretch out the tendons/ligaments. I also started taking glucoseamine again about a week ago. it normally takes about 2-3 weeks before I notice any difference after taking that, but it does help.

Apparently, you are to do about 3 sets of 15 of this exercise daily. They suggest starting with the red then progress to green then blue but my doc told me just to go ahead and get the blue one right off the bat.

Damn, never thought about trying it with a newspaper. Much cheaper than this stupid rubber sex toy looking thing I ordered.
