Vitamin B-6 recommended when taking Deca to offset progesterone related side effects (from WARMachine's well-known post).
How much B-6? What form?

Thanks again.

pills that you can find anywhere like walmart. I took 600 mg a day, spread throughout the day. I think they will only offset the prog related side effects to a certain degree. If you are unsure if you will need "bigger guns" than b6, research caber. Thats what i have to use with npp over 500mg a week or tren over 75 mg a day
have you used decca before? How much are you planning on using?
I am using Deca now, but never before. Been on Sust250 500mg ew and Deca 200mg ew. I have decided to up Deca dosage to 300mg ew. In middle of 5th week now. Was reading about benefits of B6 while on Deca and thought it couldn't hurt to incorporate it.
B6 is a very weak dopamine agonist. Even P-5-P (the more bioavailable version of it) is weak. If you're using real AAS, get a real dopamine agonist like Caber or prami.
Is it uncommon for progesterone-related sides to occur with a low dosage of Deca? [My case 300mg ew for 12 weeks]
You don't know the difference between progesterone and prolactin. This is bad.
Just make sure to keep estrogen in check with a good dose of Aromasin. That's the most important thing.
If this is your first cycle, you should just drop the deca now and continue with the test.
Thanks Bonaparte. I am aware that Deca affects progesterone receptors which may increase prolactin in the blood. This in turn may result in unwanted sides.
I'd like to know if I should be concerned with this at Deca 300mg ew.
If so, I'll look into the caber.
This is my second cycle.
Not quite. Prolactin is actually released in response to increased estrogen. Its really complicated, but Swifto explains it pretty well in this thread:

Thanks. Will check out that link now.
FYI it is possible to overdose on B6, over the long term adsorbing over like 50mg/day is not a great idea. Not sure what 'long term' means in this case but my assumption was several months or more. I think you need to slowly wean yourself down off of it or something if you wind up in this situation. 600mg is an F ton of B6 bro lol. I had found the info by googling, I was IM'ing B6 and B12 to increase my sperm count.
B6 I've noticed helps my body relieve some extracellular water, It also aids in metabolizing carbs, and aminos, I think it's a good vitamin to take no matter what.
