    checking batch numbers

this may belong in the "gear pictures" section-
but i don't have any pictures... or the gear haha

if the gear comes with exp dates, batch number, etc... how do i x-reference the batch number with the manufacturer? is that possible?

I'm not sure how you do it, but i believe it's possible. I think you might have to go to their website....Basically it comes down to trusting your source.
Others will chime in and help because i've heard of guys checking this out via the web....

Sometimes the manufacturer will provide websites that will allow you to make sure it's authentic by typing the numbers in.
