Do i really need the nolva, toxity issue.

Im currently running pct at the moment and am considering stopping the nolva after reading certain studies about its toxity. Do i really need it during pct or will the clomid alone be fine? What are the actual benefits of nolva compared to clomid at raising hormone levels. Iv'e read all the pct stickies but would like more answers. Thanks

Basically it means you should be taking something to "assist" your liver... Milkthistle, liver assist, Liv 52 etc.. Time to do a little research... It is wise to take something to help your liver out.Heres a site explaining LIV52 and what it does.. (http://liv52.com/) Other feel free to chime in. Its up to you to realize what you are putting into your body, PCT options are not limitless. You have options but not many, so you have to prepare yourself..
Nolva has also been shown to be "less" toxic than Clomid. You can see it easily in the fact that you need a smaller dosage usually 20-40mgs Nolvadex to do what it takes Clomid to do in 100-150mgs. But they both offer something the other one doesn't. The PCT section here on the forum covers them rather well in my opinion.

Nolva for Gyno and clomid is used by women to help conceive

So what levels do each raise exactly and by how much. What i want to do is basically see if i could drop one and just continue with one rather than use the 2. Im also having erection problems and cant see where i went wrong. My pct is pretty much perfect.

Erection problems aren't uncommon in PCT.

Nolva (and clomid) toxicity is over-rated imo, especially at the doses and duration that we BBs use it.

I've used nolva/clomid for PCT numerous times and it has never failed me.

I've used nolva/clomid for PCT numerous times and it has never failed me.

Cycle planned was 500mg test enanthate a week for 10 weeks but for the last 3 i upped the dose to 750mg. Along with that i used 50mg of proviron daily till the day of the last injection. I started pct 14 days after my last injection and it is as follows -

Clomid - 100/50/50/50
Nolva - 40/20/20/20
Vitmain c - 2g daily

I'm at the beginning of week 3 now of pct.

Toremifine Citrate is a second gen serm with a lot less sides than Nolva and only slightly less effective. I am 55 (so recovery is naturally a little harder LOL) and used it after a month long cycle of 750mg Test base and 500mg TrenA and it worked great for me, by day 18 I was pretty much back to normal and actually stopped at day 23 as I felt fully recovered.

PS no erectile problems at any point on cycle or during or after PCT, but I imagine that varies person to person.

Why did you up your Test dose for the final 3 weeks? What are your stats and gains on the cycle?

I upped the test because it never kicked in untill week 7. My final gains were that i went from 16.3 stone to 17.7 stone and wern't holding alot of water either.

Like I said you may have to ride this out, obviously you recovery slowly.

You can continue the nolva for a few weeks if you don't feel sufficiently recovered

(there is nothing written in stone that says you MUST run a PCT for 4 weeks).

Still, once your PCT is over you should wait 5-6 weeks and get bloodwork.

Just a update. Im starting to see more erections but only got enough nolvadex for 28 days which was what i planned my pct to be but feel that i need to run it a little longer, maybe 5-6 weeks so another 1-2 weeks. I have lots of clomid left, could i keep running that for the extended time instead of nolva and will it give the same results?

You could do that, I'd just run a small dose of clomid.

Say 25mg/ED.

lets see do i need nolva hmmm. do you want tits? if you do not have that problem cool. what about testes clomid to bring gonad production i think its worth it no?
