NEED HELP!! 3 days after quad injections and can barely walk

    Hi,

On Monday afternoon i had 1.5ml of primotestan (Test E) in my left leg and 1ml EQ in my right. I cannot walk properley on my left leg still from the pain and it is now wednesday afternoon. Could someone please tell me what they might think is wrong.
Symtoms: very stiff muscle, cannot apply any pressure to the leg (whilst walking etc), can touch the area only softly otherwise it really hurts.

    Thanks guys

Has this ever happened before? Have you pinned your thigh before? Did you feel pain when injecting? Is there any swelling , heat, or redness at the injection site? Any puss or discharge?

Yeah, if its red, feels hot to the touch, is swollen, etc. than it is likely an infection, in which case you need to go to the hospital and get on antibiotics ASAP or else they will have to cut your quad open, spread the muscle, and allow the infection to drain out.
Not trying to scare you, just trying to instill that if it does have signs of an infection, than it may be an infection, and an infection is not something to ignore.

I've had some tren with EO in it which made me really sore, I would literally walk like a gimp down stairs(due to pain) and would have to support my weight with the railing. There are a lot of variables the strength of the gear, what is all in the gear for example is EO in it or grape seed oil etc...

Were your quads virgin muscles before this?

Try massaging in your quad after you inject for a few minutes I've found this helps.

It doesn't sound like an infection to me from what you describe but if it's red and hot to touch like the others have mentioned I'd go get it checked out.

No this has never happened before and yes i have pinned my quad before, The area does not have any swelling but i think it is a little warmer than the other areas, definatley no puss or discharge happening but alot of pain.
Skyler i have amoxil at home do you think i should take that as it is a anitbiotic that treats infections?

Yes i think it could be the oils as i put 1ml in my shoulder the week before and found it difficult to move for a day or two, no where near this bad though. I will take some infection tablets just to be safe and do the massage thing after every injection but i dont think i will be doing the quad anymore i cannot walk and now am out of training till it gets better.
No i had injected in my quad 3-4 times prior to this last time.

If you think its an infection, you need to go to the hospital. They will be able to determine the best way to combat the infection based on the severity of it. The doctor will be able to determine which antibiotic you need, what dose, how often, etc. Just hypothetically speaking, if it gets to the point where it is beyond antibiotics, and needs to be drained, then you need to get it drained, period. Ignoring it, or taking your own antibiotics by that point won't help anything.

I am not the type of guy who likes going to the hospital. I don't like them, and I financially cannot afford to spend money on co-pays every time I think I might have a problem. So I am not saying you absolutely have to go. I am just saying, you can see/feel your leg, I can't. So if you determine that you have good reason to believe its an infection, than go to the hospital. Personally, if I had those antibiotics on hand, I would take them, just to be safe. It might save you a trip and co-pays.

I just took my first tablet, if i am not feeling better by this time tomorrow i will go to the doctors. As far as i know these usually take 24 hours to take effect, so i will see how i go with it. Thanks for your advice.

I had it bad a few times with swollen quads post-injection but even though mine was hot, red, swollen like a baseball - it wasn't infected.

Appearance of Puss or a yellowish tinge would suggest an infection but plenty of people have the same trouble and its just a typical painful quad injection.

I found Ketoprofen was a miracle cure but it was prescribed by the Doc. Goto your Doc, be honest and confess and ask for their expert opinion. Theres too much at risk to misdiagnose yourself if it is an infection. Chances are it isn't but keep and eye on it if it worsens and take the necessary medical option.

Sorry forgot to add. Get some 25g 1" pins and try other body parts as they tend to flare up less.

Legs are notorious for post injection pain........

First inject ever I did quads and got an infection. Even though I had help I suspect we didn't use clean practices. I have never done quads since. My favorite spot is shoulders which I hit by kneeling by my bed and draping my arm straight out and injecting with the other arm. Anyway when I got the infection the biggest symptom was swelling. My leg swelled way up to where it was noticeably bigger than the regular leg especially around the ankle as the infection spread. I could not bend the leg. I believe it was red and warm to the touch. Personally I would get antibiotics as soon as you realize you have an infection. Some aas hurts a lot anyway so it can be hard to tell but I almost waited too long and wish I had gone much sooner. The antibiotic I was prescibed was Cephalexin and it is one of the ones they sell for free at publix after you pay for doctor visit to get the presciption.
