Can I take Dbol in my 8th week of Test cycle?

I started a 14 wk Test cycle 8 wks ago. In my 5th week, I was getting stronger and hurt my elbow (tendonitis) doing preacher curls. The pain really shut down my progress because I had to cut back on weight. Extremely painful to workout. A friend said that Dbol was good for joints and many of the older guys (I'm 52) used it. My question is, now that I'm in my 8th week and getting discouraged because of my lack of gain, is it acceptable to take Dbol at this point ? Thanks.

it will cause water retention, maybe thats what they are referring to, but if it does make it feel better doesn't mean the injury is healed and you risk further damage if you push to hard

Well, I've identified the cause as preacher curls with too much weight. So, I've eliminated the preacher curls and with some anti-inflammatories, the tendonitis pain is decreasing. I'm curious if the dbol will enhance my progress (gains) and if it will be safe to take at this juncture of my cycle. I know that most people take it in the first couple of weeks to jump start their cycle.

choice is yours beginning or end of cycle, gains are short lived and imo not worth it. its usually used to kick start as you stated

It can be used anytime during the cycle. Long as blood work is fine. Which on a simple test cycle... they should be fine.
Though at your age, it could be harsh on your liver, cholesterol, etc.
    So just watch yourself.

Just be careful of that injury. It could get worse and you may not realize it.

Thank you, gentlemen. Will take all advise into consideration. Probably not going to attempt it. Appreciate your input.
