I've been working out now for several years but only started consistantly training abs about 9 months ago.
I have no idea what my body fat percentage is but I'm now starting to get some definition in my abs and can definately feel them through the little bit of fat i do carry.
My question is: Why is it that first thing in the morning, when I first get out of bed and look in the mirror, I look at lot leaner than any other part of the day? I can clearly see my 6 pack. Later in the day all I can see is a 1 packMy theory is that whilst we are asleep all the midrift fat spreads out and give us a leaner look until it goes back to where it should be. Then again I might be talking s**t.
What do you guys think?
