    Morning six pack

    Hey guys,
I've been working out now for several years but only started consistantly training abs about 9 months ago.

I have no idea what my body fat percentage is but I'm now starting to get some definition in my abs and can definately feel them through the little bit of fat i do carry.

My question is: Why is it that first thing in the morning, when I first get out of bed and look in the mirror, I look at lot leaner than any other part of the day? I can clearly see my 6 pack. Later in the day all I can see is a 1 pack My theory is that whilst we are asleep all the midrift fat spreads out and give us a leaner look until it goes back to where it should be. Then again I might be talking s**t.

    What do you guys think?

My guess would be that your slightly dehydrated just enough in the morning to see your 6

Fat wont slid around if it did you would see a lot more fat ankles around

Its called fasting boys... Hence "break-fast"

You have not taken in food or liquids for 6-8 hours (depending how much you sleep)

Your body has used whatever food/nutrients you had floating around in your blood stream and stored in your liver for energy and repair all night...

So upon waking... your not bloated, full, or otherwise affected by food/liquid like you would be all day, normally.

When I wake up in the morning, I call it my "dry" look
I also weigh myself in the mornings

Yerp, I've been doing fasted cardio in the mornings before breakfast. I know some people say it will waste muscle but I've literally seen no sign of this what so ever. I have a cup of hot green tea then head to the gym to do light cardio for a good hour or so.

It's also a good time to take the shirt off at the gym and get in some posing and flexing, because like Brewster said you look dry and ripped as fuk. SO everyones like god damn he's in good shape.

It's because you're carb depleted. Carbs tend to bloat your fat cells temporarily (along with muscles in the form of glycogen). Why do you think guys usually drop 5 lbs and look a lot leaner in the first week of a keto diet?
