    Over-Supplementation with Steroids?

Hey everyone. Got my first cycle coming up in the beginning of next month (Test E and Dianabol) and I am trying to digest as much information as I can before hand. I was wondering about over-supplementation (support supplements to be exact) while taking steroids. So far my support regime is as follows:

    Super Cissus RX
    Animal Pak
    Hawthorn Extract: 1000mg daily
    Celery Seed Extract: 500mg daily
    Red Yeast Extract: 1200mg daily
    NAC: 1200mg daily
    Milk Thistle: 1200mg daily
    Policosanol: 40mg daily
    CoQ10: 100mg daily
    Nettle Root: 300mg daily
    Quercetin: 500mg daily
    Taurine: 1000mg daily

Opinions? I'm mainly wondering if this is too much as far as support goes.

    Thanks.

The support supplements cost me about $200 total, but I'll be able to use them all for multiple cycles.

To me that's a little intense. Do you know if you're really benefitting frommall these, let alone need them??

Well everything but Super Cissus RX and Animal Pak are extracts/herbs that are contained within AIO supplements like AI's Life Support and CEL's Cycle Assist (Animal Pak contains some of these as well, albeit in smaller dosages), and those have seemed to work good for me in the past with PH cycles. Lots of people use AI's and CEL's support products while on cycle as well, so I was just wondering.

I guess the best way for me to find out if they are working is to get before and after blood work done.

    Super Cissus RX Good stuff
Animal Pak You need vitamins, but probably not 11 pills. Get something cheaper next time.
Hawthorn Extract: 1000mg daily It helps with BP, if that's an issue for you.
    Celery Seed Extract: 500mg daily " "
Red Yeast Extract: 1200mg daily Pointless. The FDA has a patent on the active ingredient and had it banned in dietary supps, since it is standardized as an extract in Lovastatin.
NAC: 1200mg daily This is good, especially if you're using oral. It supports liver function and improves lipids.
Milk Thistle: 1200mg daily Probably pointless
Policosanol: 40mg daily It improves lipids according to Castro's researchers, but who knows...
CoQ10: 100mg daily Probably pointless, but it can't hurt.
Nettle Root: 300mg daily Can't hurt, but I wouldn't bother on an AAS cycle.
Quercetin: 500mg daily Like most of these supps, probably not needed, but it won't hurt.
Taurine: 1000mg daily Bump this up to 5g a day taken preworkout while on the Dbol. It helps control painful pumps.

Opinions? I'm mainly wondering if this is too much as far as support goes.

    Thanks.
OK, well that are your stats? Age?
Apart from my answers in bold, add some creatine.

Thanks for your input. I am 24 years old, 5'10" @ 185 lbs, bf is around 13%. I think I'm going to save the creatine for PCT to hold on to gains. I'm surprised you said the milk thistle is probably pointless as most people use it for hepatotoxic orals such as Dianabol.

Milk thistle has very low bioavailability, so it is pretty pointless.
NAC on the other hand is proven to support liver function.
Creatine isn't going to help you "hold onto gains". Only food, rest, and vitamin C will really help. Use it year-round to maximize strength gains, especially since AAS allow your to store more ATP.

I dont mean any offense by this but are you hard to get motivated? I've seen some lifting buddies feel like they need to spend money on supps/top of the line lifting stuff (Ipods, clothes, gloves) in order to keep the drive to workout.

I'm sure lots of those are great and beneficial but all of them at once seems a bit much. Just my 0.02c

They're support supps (for your health), not fancy pre-workout supps.

I just use the basics while on. Multi vitamin/mineral,liver protectant, fish oils....I keep it pretty simple.

I don't see how you made a connection regarding wanting to keep my health in check with not being motivated.

Yeah, I'm going to get before and after bloods done and compare them. Next time I'll support with the basics and compare those as well.
