Post Confessions of a Newb aka my first cycle log

To start a bit about me. 6'2" 270lbs or 125kg. 33yo, training off and on since April 1999. In my first 4 months of training I gained 17kgs or 2.2lbs per week, that was at age 22 only taking creatine and aminos for supp. Recently started doing strongman at amateur level and keen to progress.

My cycle is 500 test e and 400 Eq/week, pinning Tues/Fri. Today was 4th pin. 1st 3 were in right glute, swapped to left today. 2nd pin was only 2mm away from the first, a bit close perhaps but one week later and no adverse effects. Got plenty of pins, swabs and syringes. Nothing gets reused and everything gets swabbed or washed(hands) before I start. Feel pretty good about doing glute injections myself, plenty of muscle there and hardly feel any pain during or after.
Starting to notice a marked increase in appetite, eating best I can. Adding more steak, chicken breast and sweet potato to the diet this week. I drink half a gallon of milk per day or thereabouts.
Noticing an increase in strength a bit. Doubled 120kg on bench today in strict powerlifting form I.e. Head, shoulders, butt and feet all firmly anchored and stationary thru the whole lift. Did 120kg single 6 days ago in first ever PL comp so that's a small gain.
Could have easily done just 500mg of test e as a first timer but was swayed by a guy I know who is finishing 500/400eq and reckons the eq can to an extent counteract any aromatization from the test. He has very little water, no acne and no gyno. So far Im about the same. Planning a Pct of Nolva and Clomid, if I'm rich enough I'll add L-dex but it costs more than the other two combined.

That's all, got legs in the morning and 6 days is heaps of rest so I'm hoping to really SMASH it tomorrow. Thanks for reading and critiquing if you do.

No training today but plenty of food. Bodyweight all time high 127kgs or 279lbs. Some might say only two weeks is too soon to see much of anything but feeling more agro in the gym, squats in the morning will give me something to measure against. Going to bed two hours earlier than normal. Out

Ok I'm a bit fat! Needless to say the diet and cardio will be addressed pronto. Did my squats today. Was humid and muggy due to all the rain, my least favourite weather to train in. Made reps pretty easy, 180kgs for 10 followed by 160 for 13. Hardest part was fighting the pain of my belt digging into my huge gut. Anyway I'm happy with how things are going so far. 5th pin on Tuesday and that will be only 14 days since I started. Can't wait till
week 5 and 6 when Everything really kicks in

Update. Bodyweight gain in 10 days is 5kgs. Eq really making me hungry. Strength gains are good, gained 5kgs on bench 1rm today up to 125kgs from 120 last workout 6days ago. No sides so far other than the good ones. 5th pin was yesterday. Keen to do next leg workout, won't be using a belt till I cut some fat off me gut.

Haven't posted for more than a week. 8th pin today, still on 500 mg test enth and 400 eq per week. Bodyweight has hit 130kgs for the 1st time in my life. Bench is at 130kgs strict powerlifting form full pause at bottom. No squats so far this week due to hamstring strain, wife says my leg is hot to touch where the pain is. Focussing on upper body more than i usually do, it's mostly squats and deads with me. on better note shoulders are slowly improving from the thrashing they took during my first 2 comps in October/November.

Also of note did bi curls today using 68kgs for 9 reps, pb by miles. Endurance in general seems better, did 20+ sets for chest, back and bis last week, something I rarely did when natural. Still very new to using aas, but I'm liking the results so far.

Cleaning up diet, chicken breast in the George foreman grill and sweet
potato in the vegie steamer. Have a right ham strain that won't go away and shoulder is a bit sore, other than that strength is good.
