I recently bought Men's Body Sculpting 2nd edition. Like it so far, and being in nursing school it helps as it details all the muscles.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's Encyclopeda of Modern Bodybuilding is what I read before I began lifting weights and it really helped lead me in the right direction even as an experienced person could benefit from it. There's a lot of pictures and he talks about everything in it. http://www.amazon.com/New-Encycloped.../dp/0684857219

Muscular Development Magazine. Nearly as thick as a book, a very wide variety of info, and regular updates of the most modern, break through, cutting edge scientific research and facts. Plus some good pictures, humor, interviews, etc.

I wish I could share more knowledge here...however only one cycle and limited time online do not help much
