Can Testosterone cause anxiety?

I have had anxiety issues in the past but have been great for awhile and havn't had any problems until I started my cycle of Test prop at 70 mg ed. I just stopped my cycle after 18 days and will be starting my pct on tuesday. Anyone else get anxiety just off of test?

Are you are taking any meds for your anxiety or other psychological issues? If so then it would seem that since test jacks up your metabolic rate it might also jack up your metabolism and elimination of these meds from your system. I am no doctor/psychiatrist so take it for what its worth as this is just an assumption but one that might be worth looking into if you plan to cycle in the future.

Normally high test has the opposite effect (since it increases mood and confidence), whereas other compounds like Tren and EQ are notorious for anxiety. But I guess the added androgens could trigger anxiety in the right person.

Anxiety and random crying?? ouch man.. you need to get your other stuff in check before you ever try steroids again.. it sounds to me that you have too much going on to try and start doping your own hormones.. especially at your age bud.

Not true,
Everyone reacts to different compounds in different ways.
Yes you can say Tren is worst but some people get "increases in mood and confidence".

My friend is on uppers for anxiety and the abnormal test running through his body over took the drug and caused a little anxiety, he just up'd his dose on his upper's ( id check with doc before that ).

I have severe anxiety and dont have problems with test or most orals, I just refuse to try tren. But, IMO it happens because you fear the unknown of what your body will do, or you fear people thinking your on gear.

i have constant anxiety when on. i just try to breath deeply and let it pass.
