    Hamstring popped??

    23 yrs old, 5'5, 212 lbs, waist 34 :[ , cycle experience: 2x

First I would like to say im a real moron.
I am currenty almost in week 3 of my PCT..
I just competed in a Deadlift challenge for reps. [405 lbs] I hit 18x. This was saturday.. Ate real well sunday felt strong today.
So I go to train legs today. warm up then start with front squats. 135,225,315,315,225. Felt strong. Then stiff leg deadlifts. 135,225,275,315- all was well and THEN on the last set i dropped to 225 to do some high reps and about the third rep a feel a snap! It felt like the muscle just tore apart. So i racked the weight and Iced my right hammy. right now its not in real pain, it feels more stiff then anything, some minor pain. I just literally got home from the gym. Fueled up and im about to go hit it with the cold/hot water method.

I need help here from you more experienced people/gurus!!
WTF do i do?? Ive had stiff / semi pulled hams before but nothing like this i literally felt a snap. Am I in some real trouble here??

You live and you learn.. Lesson learned. While off AAS and especially on PCT your ability to recover is much much slower. So rest and take it easy.

I tore my left hammy really bad once, my leg was black from ass to ankle. It hurt so bad that I wasn't able to walk on it for a couple of days. Iced and heated it, and it eventually healed up on its own. That was about 10 years ago. About a year ago, doing stiff legged deadlift, me and my lifting partner both heard it tear again, sounded like someone ripping canvas. Surprisingly, there was no pain and it felt great the next day. I am not a doctor, but I think I just tore some of the scar tissue. You may be lucky and just tore thru some scar tissue from past injuries.

Looking back on it, I probably should have had it looked at the first time, but I am a glutton for punishment. If it starts to bruise up really bad, I would have it looked at. You are doing the right thing by alternating the hot and cold.

Thank you bro, Yea i hope it isn't that serious. Ive been avoiding walking on it but making trips to the kitchen, and around the house i can put weight on it no problem. Just stiff but very little pain if any.. Just that popping/snap feeling scared the crap out of me.. Never had that happen before. Im icing it on and off now.

    No bruising as of now..

It's been about 24 hours now. No bruising. Some pain when I touch the area. I can slowly fully extend the knee.. Some pain when doing that. I'm walking stairs when necessary no problem. Continuing to rest and ice.
