    HIIT 5 times a week?

    For the last 2 weeks ive been doing HIIT on a bike.
    I do:
    3 min warmup
    30 sec hard 30sec low
    3 min cooldown
    The total comes to 29.5 mins

    I was just wounder if doing this 5 days a week is to much? If it is how many days should I do it and what should I do inbetween those days? My aim is fat loss

    Ur doing intervals, not HIIT

    Anyway, personaly i would either do intervals EOD or 2 on 1 off


    I doubt you will overtrain doing them but would rather add some more low intensity cardio in as a way to help recovery from the intervals if u need it

    Just try what u think and see how ur body responds


    Real HIIT 5 day a week is a big no no IMO

    For HIIT, I like to suggest the ACSM recommendation of 20 mins a day 3 times a week, that is for high intensity cardiovascular exercise.
