    Blood Work Results...

I would sincerely appreciate any and all feedback.

    38 years old
Last cycle 12 months ago. Previous cycles were in 1996-97. 13 year break between cycling.

Suffering from low test sides. Father at 36 was an old man, miserable and in bed every night by 8:30 pm.

Here are my blood work results.

    Free T3: 4.4 pmol/L (3.5-6.5)
    Free T4: 0.89 ng/dl (0.71-1.85)
    TSH: 4.19 uIU/ml (0.35-5.50)
    Testosterone: 400 ng/dl (241-827)
    Testosterone (SI): 13.9 nmol/L (8.4-28.7)

    Free Testosterone: 29.7 L (30.9-147.5) PMOL/L

This blood work was done with a GP and I asked for E2, Prolactin, etc... but this is all that came back.

    Swifto and Marcus, your thoughts?

    Thank you.

everything looks fine, ask for another with shbg and albumin... may explain the low free test.

Just curious what the doc said about the free test? Surely seems like something that should be addressed one way or another, if he just handed you the labs and said "hmm see ya in 6 months"...I would go to another doc.

Doc is a GP and not an Endo. Said my test all looks normal.

Free Test is off the bottom of the chart. Should this not be a concern?

    Albumin: 4.2 g/dl (3.5-5.0)

My normal test levels equals low libido and lack of interest in sexual activity and mild to severe depression after sex for 2-4 days. So, I need normal levels of test like I need a hole in the head.

My results of 400 out of a "normal range" of 241-827 puts we squarely in the 27% percentile. This is less than the bottom third. A score of 650+ is ideal so I have a problem here.

I am still understanding the role of free test. Again, I am off the bottom of the chart.

I have been experimenting with Adex at 0.5 EOD for the past 3 months and do feel an improvement but it is not enough.

you do realize your adex use could be lowering your e2, and actually causing your low libido.

Thanks Stevey for your help. I have used the adex in the hopes it would increase libido and it has. However, it is not enough. I spent a week traveling in a foreign country and forgot to take the adex with me. Major drop in libido.

Does low free test mean that my body is producing test but it is not being used? Is it being converted to estrogen instead? This is why I have been using adex.
