So I have a "moderate to severely moderate" case of weight lifters shoulder, in my right shoulder. I've had it for a while now, I started really seeing symptoms shortly after I finished rehabbing a torn labrum. Anyway, I have yet to get surgery, and I think I probably should at some point. Any pushing motion, with a barbell, nearly kills me, but dumbbell work doesn't affect it. When I'm on cycle, I don't feel any pain, but when I'm not, if it starts acting up, it stays with me for days. The surgery would be pretty simple, but I'm not sure how long I would be out, and the doctor said it varies from person to person. Has anyone else had surgery to fix this problem? If so, how long were you out, and how did your body react to it? Thanks fellas
