Nose surgery while on AAS

Hey guys. I felt compelled to post this question since I admittedly have no idea what the answer is. I box and I broke my nose in a match recently and it requires surgery. Would there be a problem going under the knife while on AAS? I'm guessing that anesthesia could be dangerous while on steroids, but I need to know if anyone has had experience with this or knows whether or not you can undergo surgery in this situation. first, i'm no expert. I take mild aas (trt), and would not for a moment delaying surgery or coming off trt for what you describe.

having said that, i think i would focus on your vitals, there might be the place to find your answer. what is your bp like. resting heart rate? if those are too high, you should probably consider stopping and pcting for awhile until you get those under control.

Tell the doc. There might be risk of excessive bleeding and such.

Tell your doc. I was on a test e only cycle of 500ml a week when I had a deviated septum fixed. Also was on the same cycle when I had my vasectomy. Told both my docs what I was doing and they were fine to do the surgery.

I've had multiple surgery's while on aas. aas itself will not effect anything. like TR said its more if your bP is high.

Not sure about the risks....however I did have an old training buddy have a gyno op while he was still running Test, they could not stop him bleeding during the op.
