    Glutamine PWO, Good or Bad?

I was at GNC since I got a gift card to there for Christmas. I was directed to a product called after glow for PWO. It contains a lot of glutamine and I remember reading here that it was not good to take glutamine PWO because it competes with the whey. Am I right or is the GNC guy correct? I usually take what they say as lies since they work off of commission but I'm just curious.

    LOL

I have never read any info that would suggest that

Its simply an amino acid, it makes no sence to not take it, in fact i have just ordered 1kg RAW Glutamine

I will be using it with BCAA's and Dextrose in an Intra Workout drink

A good rule is to never trust a sales man, know ur subject. Then you can poke them for fun

I've heard the same thing about glutamine PWO... doesn't compete with "whey" but competes with other receptors. I remember hearing it from a legit source I think maybe even on this board not the "GNC guy" try a search on here.

why the hell do would you want glutamine? have a protein shake or a steak and that provides you with ample amounts.
