What food should I take??...
ask about in the diet section.
but you want things like chicken breast, tuna, beef, maybe even turkey/pork.
but just get yourself a good protein shake power and take lots of protein shakes.
you need to find out how much protein you need to consume to gain weight.
but you cant just gain weight on protein, you will need to eat lots of complex carbs like rice, pasta, potatoes!! thats where you gain your weight.
what is your weight and age?
we will need this to tell you how much carbs and protein you will need to consume a day to gain weight![]()
No offence dude, but that's some very choppy guidance you gave here. You're on the right path, but you are being way too vague. For instance, I wouldn't push protein shakes so much, as there is no substitute to whole food when it comes to promoting anabolism. And concerning carbs, that's an EXTREMELY individualistic matter. Everybody is different and varies on their carbohydrate requirements. I also notice no mention as to fats and total calories. Then again, the OP is very vague in his post. OP, are you just inquiring as to which foods contain the most complete protein?

but take into account food such as cheese and peanut butter is high protein, but even more fat!!!! so dont eat too much of either unless you want to put
on fat!
if you want a very detailed high protein and carb diet go to the diet section and look on google,
im not here to spoon feed newbies. i think ive done enough![]()
Protein
You want to consume 1.5 grams per pound of bodyweight. so ...
if you weigh 150 pounds, you need to consume atleast 225 grams of protein.
Complex Carbs
You want to consume 2.5 grams per pound of bodyweight. so ...
if you weigh 150 pounds, you need to consume atleast 375 grams of protein.
you should be sorted now!
all the research ive done says 2 - 2.5 of good complex carbs.
the more the merrier![]()
that will lead to more of a sloppy bulk.. i.e. gain fat with your muscle..
sore example.. i am 245lbs.. my TDEE is around 3500.. since i am bulking i add 500 calories so i work with 4000 calories on a training day.. so idealy i will eat 400g protein (1600 calories), 400g carbs (1600 calories) and 100g of healthy fats (900 calories)... (4100 cals total) 250lbs x 1.5g of protein = 375g.. so if i was to be doing 2.5x my BW of carbs i would have no room left over for healthy fats which are important for a number of reasons..
i agree with what you say, that you need essentail fats also. but i realy disagree with that statement.
i disagree it will lead to a sloppy bulk which gains fat.
you cant base a 2.5 consumption rate per pound to lead to a fat diet.
you only get fat whether its complex or simple carbs if your not exercising or burning it off.
if its not burnt, it will just turn to fat stores as energy for future.
so you cant generalise it will cause a fatty diet. you need to take into account his routine.
my off gym days i do cardio, this limits the fat i would put on![]()
and you will get enough essentail fats with the food you eat anyway.
IMHO i wouldnt even bother monitor how much essential fats i eat as you get enough usually with the food your eating.
