Muscle: Confessions of an unlikely bodybuilder.

Samuel Fussell, the author, has an Ivy League/Oxford background. Very, very funny and insightful. Pictures. Google the book, should be available in larger libraries. (non-fiction)

Body: Tragicomedy re: bodybuilding. Author Harry Crews is a noted southern "gothic" writer. Brilliant. (fiction)

Just placed this on hold for me at the library. According to Amazon it will be a good read.

I missed on the Harry Crews book. Title is "Body" about a southern lady in a bodybuilding contest. Prof. Crews writes
about used car dealers, chicken fighting, etc. Kind of a rough book. You will enjoy Muscle.
