Anyone smart enough to figure out why my pics are failing to upload?

see, i just purchased this Nikon camera, and made sure I tried to upload small pics 50kb-ish and also a .jpg format. see the error message on that pane to see what I'm talking about.

I'd love to just walk to market and purchase a compatible camera, but hard to do in Kabul. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong

Anyways, any help would be appreciated. I'm 12.5 hours ahead of california, so if you ask me a question, there would probably be a lag before I can answer your question.

Did you try uploading them to an image hosting site, and using the "Insert Image" function?

no sir, i have not. are we allowed to ask for a link to this "image hosting site"? I've never used before... I may be a top notch accountant, but sometimes a dullard when it comes to the techy stuff
