    As long as no sources are mentioned I don't see a problem. It's a very broad and non specific question.

    That inevitably will lead to descriptions of sending and recieving methods and packaging since they are what determines safety. This kind of question has been posted before and this was always the outcome that a mod or vet had to come along and sanction the thing.

    The fact that he has been here since 04 does not in any way change the things that affect the security of packages through the mail.

    OK go ahead and discuss it to your hearts content. I have already PMed the guy stuff that is very relevent to package safetly that has no place on this board. I can only assume you guys have no concept of what would make a difference between safe delivery and a delivery potentialy involving the recipient in the court system.

    The guy was asking a general question on what we as individuals think is safer. He didn't ask us to explain why or who so this question can be answered as a simple a or b. What you pm'd him is more than what he asked for. The op could have easily just posted this thread for the sole purpose pf curiosity. Just to see what our members feel are safer in there opinions. We are all well aware that getting into specifics is against the rules.

    That's all I was trying to convey. Clearly he isn't going to break the rules intentionally... he knows them well. he's been active here for 7 years.

    I just said "this stuff should not be discussed in any detail on an open board" I never said the OPs post should not have been made, or that no one should express an opinion.

    I just wanted to caution people not to post all the variables on delivery that can affect whether a package makes it or not, since IMHO you really can not answer the question without addressing the variables. My apoligies to anyone who was offended by my post it was really meant to caution people on what they said when they replied. Not to condemn the poster for starting the thread.

    PS No hard feelings taken by me on any comments made to me.
