    Cut bf% diet

Right.... I know this diet is gonna get killed completely.... The reason I am posting it is that about 4 years ago.... IT WORKED?

Before I got into weights etc I was a chunky monkey weighing in at a whopping 94.5kg destroying anything edible in my path and at a massive 5ft 8, this is not good... I was wearing 36inch trousers...
Then one day I sed enough is enough... And I gave myself 3 months to loose 3 stone

    My diet was

    8am, 4 rivita, 2 laughing cow light
    1pm, chicken salad
    6pm, hour cardio 3 times a week
8pm, a dinner, usually White rice and some kind of meat...

    No snaks etc...

3 months later I weighed in at 73.6kg

So... My question is, why is the above diet a bad one if it works?

My aim is to cut 7%bf in 2 months in time for me to do a test/anavar cycle in time for a lads holiday (see where I'm going with this..... Sexy time)

    Current stats

    25, 5ft 8, 80kg, bf somewhere between 15-19% (different readings)

    Currently I work out 5 times a
Weeek, one body part each time, with NO cardio... I'm tinking of doing 1 hour cardio monday, Wednesday, fri... And working out Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday...

I know it's hard or impossible to cut and bulk so what do you guys suggest is the best thing for me to do....

    Cheers guys.

If you want to lose fat then lose fat. Worry about building after you diet down.

In my opinion your last diet worked because you weren't eating very much. You don't have to be healthy to lose weight, you just have to eat less. That being said it's far better to be healthy.

So for the diet now, I'd focus on getting good lean sources of protein with each meal. Also focus on getting lots of fibrous vegetables throughout the day. Make sure you get some fat (some of it will come from your protein sources, other than those I'd add in some fish oil, maybe some virgin coconut oil, pastured butter (which is mostly cla and omega 3) and only have starchy carbohydrates around your workout.

(I tend to have a slightly different view on dieting than others here, but there's more than one way to diet down, and I usually find people are happier when they don't neglect their fats)

bottom line: you need to be in a caloric deficit to lose fat

Can I do all this with 3 meals a day tho... I struggle to eat more than that because of my job.

Im not sure, ive kinda learned to hammer down food quick because of my job. Its easier for me because I have a semi desk job. What helps me is preparing all of my meals in advance soo it is quick. Look at Baseline9's log he has some great stuff on there, Ive used alot of his stuff (especially the food assembly line ideal). Food scale has also helped me a ton.

Max is right about the diet, you lost weight only because you cut the amount of calories. You could do the same thing eating ring dings and budweiser, if you stayed under your maintenance calories, the problem is you are definitely not losing body fat your losing your body mass. You either starve the fat and feed the muscle. You are starving the muscle and feeding the fat, and as a result by the amount of times you eat throughout the day ( which is the absolute worst ) in a calorie deficit, your losing weight. So if you don't care about staying healthy and your only goal is to fit into your pants then your on the right track.

But if you would like to BE healthy and live longer, gain muscle, burn fat and become stronger and more efficient, then get to know proper nutrition and diet fundamentals, there are several of us here that could help.

As far as eating only three meals, I can direct you to over a dozen university studys that will declare that its the actual recipe for obesity!

I also share your philosophy max on the importance of good healthy fats including butter, it pays to be educated, not just going with the flow!

Wow, when u put it like that it completely makes sense as my body was never ripped and tight, it was still a bit wobbly....
Where u guys been all my life? Haha... I'm one of them real extreme ppl as u can see from the above diet, I stuck to that 100% for 3 months with nothing but water... So, I am gonna go with this.... Please tell me if u think I should change anything...

    6am - half cup oats, 1 scoop nutrisport 90+
    10am - chicken breast, salad
    2pm - chicken breast salad
6pm - a meal what ever is cooked (usually pasta, rice, meat)
    8pm - weight work out Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday
    - cardio work out Monday/Wednesday/Friday
    9pm - nutrisport 90+ shake

    Sleeeeeepy time

My job is a van driver with many heavy drops, all done by hand so I have a very active job... Does the above sound ok? I have just picked up some ephedrine so I'm gonna give that a wirl aswel.

    Thanks guys... Appreciate the advise
