Ive just started a cutting diet and my wife is wanting to do the same, should her diet consist of the same thing (just less quantity) or is their any different approach to a womans diet?

height 5'6
weight 125-128 fluctuates
bf% ???? not sure but she is thin, can see the outline of her abs peeking
Training 2yrs solid lifting 5 days a week. She hits the weights as hard as I do.
Age 22
