Thread: Losing weight while building muscle

Question Losing weight while building muscle

I have absolutely no acquaintances in person at all that know anything about steroid use, and have no one to talk to about it so I am doing my best to research and learn everything solo. Suggestions are appreciated.

    I am 21, 5'8, 190lbs, and I have never taken steroids.
Also, I do not consider myself to be a fat guy but over the past couple of years I have gained enough weight to get a "baby face." I also want to gain muscle, as I've never been cut or built.

My goal is to work out and gain muscle, and be fit.
I'm considering protein shakes, a gym membership, etc.

I understand that steroids make you gain weight.
Will it be a bad idea to work on my weight while also working on building muscle? Or will steroids give me enough endurance to be able to gain muscle mass while still losing fat?

Any ideas or plans are greatly appreciated.

Your diet and training have to be on point to gain muscle and to lose fat. If you're just considering protien shakes and a gym membership you're no where near ready for steroids. Without a few years of training under your belt the rapid strenght gain will be more than you're tendons and connective tissues are ready for and you'll just end up hurting yourself. Also at 21 you're natural homrone levels have not stabilized and you're growth plates are more than likely not closed. This means by taking steroids not you risk permanant damage to your endochrine system, not to mention your body has more than enough hormones naturally to build muscle. Also steroids now will prematurely close your growth plates. Its not worth it. Start in our diet and training forums and go natural for a few years.

Wow, you are really considering a gym membership and everything? Why go to such extremes?

bro, cats like scotty's got it. please listen to these dudes. the only thing I will say is what other experienced members say or have taught me. I shedded bodyfat through am fasted cardio, as instructed by my trainer. that is BY FAR the best way i have ever experienced body fat loss. don't believe me? try this...when you wake, do 30-50 minute HIIT cardio. then eat a couple eggs with 6 egg whites n a cup of minute oats n have the diet section of this forum revamp your diet, and the workout section redo your workout, and then you're off to a good start bro

I have always been thin so I never cared to diet (healthy or not). However, I've always wanted to gain muscle. I will be 22 in a month and I'm willing to begin now. I figured damage would not be done If I begin eating healthy, working out, and taking roids at a steady pace.

oh god, i remember being 21. i could gain n gain, etc. dude, my first cycle started at 39 yrs old. irregardless, my only point here is that at 21 you may feel like you're getting old quick (I did too), but, i wish i was even 30 again. nevertheless, I'm actually happy as hell, because I'm 39 and before i started my first cycle a couple weeks ago, I could deadlift more than my brother could when he was a personal trainer at balley's at 22. more than he ever could could in his life. my point again, gain naturally until experts find you to be ready, especially in age. natural test is high when young. no, I'm not any authority. but I don't want anyone to make a mistake either. therefore i feel like i gotta at least say somethin to help. all i know is experts say 26 yrs or older is a roundabout age to consider aas, so I'd say that's worth investigating. again, I'm only relaying info to help.

max out on natural potential first. go to the gym for 3 years straight. if your 21 and go to the gym 3 years straight focus on diet and routine and dedicate a minimum 4 days a week give or take a day or 2 here and there; you might at that point may be considered a canidate for aas. but more than likely not. youll still be under the age thats recommended on here and thats more than 25 years old. imagine 3 years of working out with proper diet and routine, mind=blown. than do aas afterwards...omfg........what do you think were doing on here! youre skipping a step that mostly everyone has had to take and is way better off taking. and your 19, chances are tomorrow you'll want to be doing something completely different tomorrow. enjoy being an indecisive little prick. we sure did.

X4 head over and get your diet in check, If you have never done weights before, get in there and do them. You might not even like the dedication needed.

it is possible to loose fat and gain muscle at the same time. just by working out, everyone on here will tell you to wait until your over 35 to start using steroids or to work out for 4 years first. if you want to take steroids take them, and you will gain muscle while loosing fat
