Reason for cycle
Lifted off and on from middle school through first year of college for sports was often accused of being on "juice" or whatever throughout most of these years due to being an easy gainer coupled with intensive cardio from being an elite swimmer allowing me to both stay strong and fairly lean at the same time. Entered highschool at 4'10" 105 lbs and graduated at 5'10" and 190 lbs (got as high as 200 at one point).
I began playing rugby last semester and play in collegiate D-1 for a very competitive team. I entered last season at about 230 lbs and dropped down to 195 lbs by the end of the season due to the incredible cardiovascular requirements of my position. I play flanker which is similar to a linebacker in football but a flanker uses about 5x more energy than a mlb in one game.
I need to be both strong and fast. Im now sitting at 220 going into this season, bulked over the break to get back up to weight.
The goal of this cycle is to both gain strength, quality muscle and primarily prevent myself from dipping down to such low levels. I feel as though I have a good base for a cycle and have done the research although I am always up for advice!
