So im sitting here watching my brother cook some winny in oil.

he just did 100ml of test and it came out good. now hes on to winny but the winny isnt breaking down like it should it is still very milky. so i told him i would go on here and see what you guys think. dont shoot it down so quick guys hes just trying it out and wanting it to work i just thought you guys woud have some advice for him

no this is not a troll thread, no im not using the "my brother" / "my friend" bs either. he asked me if i could find some info for him so of course i thought of the forum first so whats the advice.


BB is not always needed in certain experiments
BB = benzyl benzoate
BA = benzyl alcohol
Enter Amount Required
Oil in ml's 40ml = 40
Dosage in mg 250mg/ml = 250
Powder Weight normally .75 to .85
BA concentration 2% = 0.02
BB concentration 18% = 0.18

Results - Amounts Needed
Oil - - ml's
Powder - - grams
ba - - ml's
bb - - ml's

from what i know (and it is limited) winny is not oil soluble.... that is why all injectable winny is water based

could be his problem hahaha i dont know he has turned the heat up a little bit and its slowly starting to break down.

Your making winny at 250mg per ml? i dont think it holds that high of mg

if he,s trrying to do winny at 250mgs/ml then he has got chance it just wont hold ,damm its hard getting it to hold @50mgs/ml in oil ,but possable ...

he wont be able to do from what i know ,he may need other solvent than just bb ,i have never brewed winny but am sure there is other solvents used when makeing it in oil

so what should i tell him? more oil? and now how is he going to save what has cooking right now? because he was going to put it up and do some more research on why it wasnt mixing but the powder clogs the needle.......theres about 100ml sitting there it would be terrible to have to throw it out. so any suggestions there

well he decided to seal off the glass container he had it in. and now is going to order another 100ml vial of the grapeseed oil because he ran out. i guess he will try to recook it when it gets here. til then i guess his cooking expirence is done for the night. il give you guys an update when he trys again. unless someone has another idea

Just to get it to hold at 50mg/ml, you'll need a lot of BB (~40%) and the rest EO.
BTW, you don't need to buy oil online, the grocery store stuff is fine.

i dont think he knew that well i will tell him, i think he was all worried about everything be sanitary. i tell him about that tho
