    Long term golfers elbow

I have been off gym for 6 months now due to shoulder tendonosis, but on that same arm I have golfers elbow, it is better now than what it was, because it usually only hurts when I touch it, my palm side forearm used to be inflamed when I worked out that my tendons and ligaments were too tight from constantly using my phone, having my arm bent and escpecially using a computer mouse makes the condition worse. Active release thereapy worked allot for my inflamed forearm but it was by a chiropractor, I want to see someone who only specialises in AT but now I have no more money after spending it all on chiropractic treatment for my shoulder and the nearest ART entre is an hours drove and a toll charge away which is expensive as it is not to mention the feefor the treatment, doing that up to 8 sessions, I just can't afford it.

My option now that I am taking is to number one..

    1. Get some exercises.. There are lots of exercises, but I need some specifically to loosen up the tendon and break the fibers up as I think that the fibres are all out of line. So if anyone can help me here that would be great.

    2. Stop doing what aggrivates the golfers elbow (I havn't been in the gym for 6 months mind you).

    3. I am going tos start a cycle of deca and test both at only 100ml a week and do very light weights for 10 weeks and see how that goes, whilst doing the rehab exercises that I hope you guys can help me with.

I had chronic golfers elbow for many years due to overwork of the forearm muscles as i am a carpenter by trade . I had a hydrocortisone injection in each followed by 6 weeks of naproxen . Within a few days once the soreness of the injection wore off it was gone. Its never come back. I have a supply of naproxen on hand . Gym work is no problem but if i say spend a day digging the garden etc it can get sore so a few days of naproxen and its gone again.

Is your shoulder problem tendonosis or tendonitus. Mine was tendonosis as when on the naproxen it didnt improve, if it was tendonitus (inflamation) it would of.
Read the thread 2nd down from the top of the first page by Doc.sust.This was a massive help to me as i suffered for a few years with tendonosis ,resting doesnt help this.Just make sure you diagnose correctly as the treatments are different.Let us know how you get on.
