You can get away with one inch on glutes but you need to be very lean.

My glutes are skinny so 1 1/2 is not a must ?

how much needle is still outside your skin when you feel the pinch of it going into your muscle? I'd be surprised if 1" is long enough, but I suppose it's possible.

Skinny and lean are two very different things. You can be 145 lbs 5' 7" and still 15%+ body fat and you can be 210 lbs 5' 7" and 8% body fat so dont get confused between the two.

Im 5.11. 195lbs 13% bmi I have been using 1 inch 23 gauge for the last 8 weeks..and havent had any problems ..do you think I might not be deep enough to get the full affect of the test..? I have done cycles before using 1 inch and have had good results ...I was going to go to 1 1/4 but they are harder to find what do you think? there is no health risk is there ?

I can do 1" on glutes fairly easily. I still prefer 1 1/2 so it's deeper in the muscle

My first cycle I used 1 inch not by choice but by chance. Second cycle I got 1 1/2 inch and I prefer 1 inch for sure! Seems less painful and I found I often hit a nerve or get muscle spasm with 1 1/2 inch.

I have only shot my quads so 1 inch might not be so great for a glute shot but if your bellow 15% bf 1 inch should go deep enouph.

I started out with 22g 1 1/2 for all areas but once my bf% went down The one inch in the quads is by far way less painfull if at all for me, I have found that also usuing the 1 1/2 inch in my quads cause major spasms haha so i actually just switched ove to the 23g 1 inch and 23g 1 1/2 inch needles. the 1 1/2 for the glutes and the 1 inch for the quads It works the best for me.

I only started using 1 inch because my buddy used them for years and never had a problem...so I got pins from him and just started doing the same..I never had a problem so just kept doing it ...but being on here I kept seeing only 1 1/2 so I was just wandering..
