Question on Cycling/Blasting on TRT, recovery, blood chemistry, other concerns?

    Hello all,

As some of you know I am 55 and just started using AAS about a year ago. Well after learning the importance of establishing a blood baseline I got a copy of my last bloodwork from 4 years ago when I was employed and had insurance, reading it I found that my test levels were very low back then so I started on home brewed TRT.

So my question to Marcus and others who have been around a while, what are the parameters for Cycling/Blasting on TRT? I know nothing about this and would rather not just guess. What are the general rules for Time on blast vs time on TRT? Are the main concerns changes to the lipid profile? Other than removing blood too lower the RBC count and taking vitamins and lots of cardio, are there any other things to do to protect ones self from damage?

Any help would be appreciated as I know nothing on this subject.

    Thanks,

    FFM

One of the safest ways to blast and cruise is to check your blood levels are not going out of range and everything is in check, the time scale when you should go back on cycle is an individual thing and what your trying to achieve out of cycling. The HRT dose should and will maintain gains when you come off cycle and ramping up the dose should see further gains in size/muscle.

I use to like 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off, this protocol was great for me and in the off I would prime the body and then hit another short blast cycle, gains were amazing and my bloods were good. If my levels started to get to the upper out ranges I would take longer off cycle and go with 10wks off but this is something for you to decide for the goals your trying to achieve. I can't see a little 6wk blast and 8-10 wks off do you any harm at all but always check your levels and never blast to much.

Thank you for your reply Marcus,

I am currently midway into a 10wk Cyp Deca cycle, but when finished will take the same time off then run blood and if all is well switch to 6 wk blasts as I really hate time off and with the 6 wk blasts its kind of like you are not taking time off because you either just came off or you are priming for the next go round so I don't get the feeling of stagnation that I do taking a few months off.

Thanks for the prompt answer to the post, if my course of action seems too bad let me know what I should do differently otherwise thanks again for your reply.
