when your goal is to cut down on b,f and you want to have some sort of protein just before you go to bed is cottage cheese a good option, even when your goal is to drop b,f percentage ??
cheers

(correct me if I'm wrong Damien/Gbrice)
Yes Cottage Cheese is an excellent choice because it's rich in the protein called Casein. Casein is a very slow digesting protein, so it takes your body longer to break the peptide bonds and brake down the components of the protein into it's basic forms to be distributed and nourished to your body. This allows you to still have protein being delivered to your system despite being idle (asleep).
Yeah, the only possible negative about it is it contains 3-6 grams of carbs (depending if you're using 1/2 cup or a cup), but I usually do a cup of cottage cheese, 3/4s scoop of casein powder, and 6 almonds before bed, and I'm cutting just fine.
Yeah, cottage cheese is fine but you need to account for the macros and factor everything in - this concept seems lacking in your posts.
I did casein shakes for a while, but just for a change i'm currently doing 1 cup cottage cheese with a tsp. of sugar free raspberry preserves. Like the guys said, there is a bit of sugar in cottage cheese (lactose) which isn't ideal before bed, but I don't feel a few grams is a huge deal. I posted for opinions on this recently myself. I decided i'm ok with it.
If you can handle it, lean beef is far and away your best choice. Blows casein/cottage cheese out of the water!
Everyone reacts differently to dairy, if it bloats you I don't think you'd want that extra puffiness, otherwise go for it, it's fvckin delicious.
