    Elbow pain.

    Hi all,

I've been having pain on the outside of my right for well over a month now. Its always there and flares up bad when I'm lifting. Its tender if I massage it and I can grip things but is really painful when gripping hard or squezzing the hand into a fist.

Got a feeling its tennis elbow.

Basically just wondered what I could do for it until I can get in to see the Doc (who's a pain in the arse to get appointments with).

I'll be working legs only now until it settles or is resolved!!

    Cheers,

    Po.

Try stretching your arm prior to workouts (Pull your hand/fingers back towards your shoulder with your arm straight) hold it for 30sec, then Ice it for 20mins pre/post workout...I have been receivng treatment for about 3weeks for my inner elbow pain and this stretch along with the icing has helped control the flares between visits. The elcto theraphy along with the ultrasound and LED seem to be working overall, ask your Doc about those...good luck.

yes icing 2-3 times a day will help! also try to bypass your wrist muscles when doing biceps curls until its healed! use straps and cable, see photo,

    Thanks for the replies guys,
Think I'll give the ice a go, I've been streching and massaging for a few days now. Hopefully I'll see a change soon.
Like I say I'm not going to train on it for now but if this persists I'll give the straps ago with light weights just so I can keep things moving and not loose my gains to much.
    Cheers,
    Po.
