    Questions on Prime Diet?

I''m starting the Prime Diet listed in this thread:
    http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...-Steroid-Guide

Does anyone have experience with this diet?
Also, i could use some more detailed input on how much to decrease calorie and carb input on low carb and medium carb days?

    Some stats are:
    Age: 36
Height: 5'9" (with shoes on ha ha)
    Weight: 153
    BF%: 11
Experience: weight training 15 years, i've used personal trainers, sport specific trainers, and RD's and my MD for diet help over the years. I have a very high acticity level but track all my food intake daily ( i have an app for that)

diet leading up to this diet:
    Calories Daily: 3941
    Cals ratio: 27:52:21 (Fat:Carb:Protein)
    Fats: 120 g.
    Carbs: 517 g.
    Protein: 197 g.
i have my Maintenance Calories at around 3000 calories
My average Daily exercise calories between 550 and 750 (varying on activity)
Plus 400 to 500 additional daily for gaining.
I've been on this plan for about 6 months (strict)

My Question is: With this "Prime Diet" what should i adjust my Cals ratio to on my medium carb days and my low carb days? Also, how much below maintenance sould I go on the low carb days?
I don't want to lose size (obviously @ 153 lbs) but I do want to prep my body for an upcoming bulking diet in 4 weeks.

    thanks for all the help!

I don't think anyone can give you exact answers to your questions as it is too individual specific. Everyone reacts differently and has different tolerances to high/low carbs.

Here's another thread you might find helpful http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...g..&highlight=

The bottom line is you just have to choose a protocol you think will work for you and monitor the results (scale, mirror, BF%) very closely and make adjustments as needed.

If it were me, I would save the carb cycle approach for a later time. It sounds like your goal for now is just to lean up some and prime your body for a growth phase in a month. I think you could accomplish this much easier by simply reducing your carb and calorie intake while upping the protein a bit. I would pull 100 grams of carbs out and add 50 grams of protein in per day and after a 7-10 days pull out another 100 grams of carbs and add in another 50 grams of protein. Depending how your body reacts you could gradually reduce carb intake in 50 gram increments until you are in the 150-200 gram a day range. I think this would get you the desired results without any loss in lean. You could also add in some cardio to speed things along as well.

    Thanks guys,
FireGuy - your plan seems much more simple to do! i'll keep the workout schedule from the plan I posted and use your version on diet, which will much easier to manage.

I'm not really concerned with the BF% as I can lower that very easily ( i lean out very easy, I can get to 8 & 9%) I'm really after priming my body for a growth phase as you stated.

i will be posting and getting more advice on the "growth" phase in a few weeks.

    Again, Thanks alot guys!

Sgt. - thanks for the link, that helps alot too and I had not seen that one!
I'll now be adding amino's into my supplements during the prime to help prevent muscle loss.
    thanks again.
